The euhost Box is a virtual machine of your own in Germany. The agent runs there in a tmux session and keeps working after you disconnect.

Claude Code and Codex run commands. On your laptop that gives them access to your SSH keys and client folders. On the box they only see what you put there.

From order to first session
1Choose a package
With a credit card or PayPal you continue right after paying, with a bank transfer once the money has arrived.
2Create a box
In the customer area, enter a name, RAM and storage, and add your SSH key once.
3Log in
Via SSH or from VS Code. You sign in to Claude Code and Codex with your own subscription or API key.
You pay for capacity, not per box.
Within a package you create as many boxes as it allows. You split RAM and storage between them, and every box may use all vCPUs of the package. Cancel at the end of any billing month.

In Germany, businesses pay the net prices plus 19% VAT and consumers pay the gross price. Businesses in other EU countries with a valid VAT ID pay the net price (reverse charge). For now, consumers can order only with residence in Germany, businesses only from the EU. You can pay by credit card, PayPal or bank transfer.

- Your boxes run in a data centre in Germany that is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022. The backups are stored encrypted in a second data centre, also in Germany.
- Availability
- 99.9% monthly average, excluding announced maintenance (Terms § 5). If a box is unreachable for more than 24 hours through our fault, we credit one thirtieth of the monthly package fee for each started day of outage, on request.
- Isolation
- Every box is its own KVM VM. Every customer has a separate area on the host, limited to the resources of their package.
- Money back
- If you cancel your first package within 14 days of activation, we refund the package fee in full.
- End of contract
- Your boxes are kept locked for 14 days, with an export on request. After that we delete them. Backups are deleted no later than three weeks after they were made.
- Contract
- German law, invoices in euros, data processing agreement for businesses. Cancel at any time, effective at the end of the billing month.

- Do I need my own Claude or ChatGPT subscription?
- Yes. Claude Code and Codex are installed, and you sign in with your own subscription or API key. You pay for the AI directly to the provider; we do not charge for it a second time.
- Does my agent really keep running when I close my laptop?
- Yes. The agent runs on the box. Every login lands in the same tmux session, so you carry on where you left off.
- Does this work on Windows?
- Yes. SSH is built into Windows 10 and 11, and VS Code connects with Remote-SSH. You do not need WSL.
- Where are the servers?
- In a data centre in Germany that is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022. The nightly backup is stored encrypted in a second data centre, also in Germany.
- Can other customers access my box?
- No. Every box is its own virtual machine, isolated on the network from other customers and from our infrastructure.
- What if my agent breaks something?
- You roll back to a snapshot. On top of that there is the nightly backup of the last seven days.
- Do you offer a data processing agreement?
- Yes, we conclude a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR with businesses.
- Can I cancel at any time?
- Yes, effective at the end of the current billing month, with no minimum term. In the customer area or via “Cancel contracts here” at the bottom of every page.
